What exactly are RimLabs products?
RimLabs makes automotive collectibles and display pieces for car enthusiasts — miniature die-cast wheels, wheel-shaped air fresheners, 3D wall art and shadowboxes, JDM-inspired bags and wallets, key holders, and desktop displays like the Wind Tunnel and DynoDeck. These are decorative collectibles, not functional automotive parts.
Are the mini wheels actually metal?
Yes. Our mini die-cast wheels are CNC-machined from aluminium at roughly 10cm, finished to real-spec proportions — the spoke profile, face detail and finish mirror the full-size wheels they're based on. They have genuine weight in the hand, not the hollow feel of a toy.
Do you sell real, full-size wheels?
Not at RimLabs — we focus on collectibles. For genuine forged and flow-formed wheels for your car, visit our sister brand Wheelwork Customs.
What scent are the air fresheners?
Our miniature wheel air fresheners carry a fresh lemon scent and are built to hang on display as well as freshen your space. [[ FILL IN scent life if you want a figure, e.g. 30–45 days ]]

Orders & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Afterpay is also available so you can split your order into instalments. Checkout is secured through Shopify's PCI-compliant gateway.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible after ordering and we'll do our best to help before dispatch. Because items are made to order, once an order has shipped it can't be cancelled.
Can I request a wheel style that isn't listed?
We're always expanding the range. If there's a wheel or style you'd love to see, get in touch with what you're after.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes — we're based in Victoria, Australia and ship worldwide, with free shipping on all orders.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Our pieces are made to order. Standard delivery is approximately 6–8 weeks from order confirmation. Expedited turnaround (around 3 weeks) is available on request for a surcharge. All timeframes are estimates, and we'll let you know if there's a significant change to yours.
Will I get tracking?
Yes. As soon as your order is dispatched, we'll email you a tracking link so you can follow it to your door.
Will I be charged customs or duties?
International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs clearance fees set by their own country. Check your local thresholds if you're unsure.

Returns & Warranty

What's your return policy?
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply: if an item has a major failure or isn't as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. For change-of-mind on non-custom items, request a Return Authorisation within 14 days of delivery by emailing us with your order number and reason. Items must be unused and in their original packaging; a restocking fee (10–30%) may apply and return postage is at your cost.
My order arrived damaged — what do I do?
Inspect your order on delivery. If it arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours at support@rimlabscustoms.com with photos or video of the product and packaging, and keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. We'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund.
How long do refunds take?
Once your return or claim is received, we assess it within 5–10 business days and confirm the outcome. Approved refunds are issued back to your original payment method.
